Over ten years ago, Amelia took a yoga class during which the instructor played a recording of a deeply relaxing guided meditation called "Yoga Nidra." Amelia had a very profound experience that stuck with her. Years later when she took a yoga teacher training course, she felt very drawn to write her own Yoga Nidra script and use it during her final exam: leading a Restorative Yoga class. Her teacher was very hesitant to even let her use Yoga Nidra during her final exam, but she decided to go ahead and let her try because she could sense Amelia's true passion. When the final exam was over the teacher said, "Well good job... I don't remember anything because I fell asleep!" (This is a good thing to report after Yoga Nidra... You should come out of it feeling like you took a four hour nap!)

After completing the teacher training, Amelia starting teaching a weekly Restorative Yoga class and she continued nurturing her natural inclination to help people relax deeply. During this time, she also discovered a vocal toning exercise that uses different intonations that resonate in the chakra centers of the body. She began using it in her restorative class as a form of vocal sound healing. In the spring of 2021, Amelia opened a healing center called the Crystalline Collective in Humboldt County, California with a couple of her female friends who do different types of healing work. At their center Amelia began offering a class called "Meditation & Mantra." During this class, Amelia leads participants through the vocal toning exercise mentioned earlier as a warm-up for Sanskrit mantra chanting. (People have reported being able to feel the vibrations resonating in their chakra centers during this exercise.) Another thing that Amelia offers at the studio is her signature Yoga Nidra guided meditations. Within a few weeks of each other, Amelia had three different people say to her that the guided meditations reminded them of hypnosis. This ignited something deep in her soul and she knew this was a path she must explore...

The first session that she ever did seemed like a miracle! It went so well Amelia was almost in disbelief. She felt overwhelmed with joy to have been able to help someone heal on such a deep level in such a relatively short amount of time. The other reason that she felt so overjoyed was because she knew she had finally discovered her special spiritual gift!
